So "Tiger-off" doesn't work anymore (Wow. Tiger-off sounds like it could be a tiger repellant). Suddenly people are dropping out, merely because they are being forced into using Tiger.
I can understand some reasons for leaving. If you don't want to use Oppo because of a political or social reason, fine. If trolls are continuously harrassing you, leave. If you are a troll, leave and never return.
But if you really can't stand using Oppositelock, a website with a community which I have grown to accept and love in my five months of authorship, just because of the new software, there's a problem.
If having to click once more to view replies, not being able to see pictures on the homepage, and bugginess is pushing you away from Oppo, you're missing the point. This website was already super buggy. Why didn't the other crashes and bugs cause people to leave?
If you leave because of the new format, then you really don't care for Oppo. Yes, the changes are sometimes annoying and require acclimation. Yes, people are angry about it. But honestly, we should be using this website for its content, not how accessible said content is. This website is not just a car blog, but also a blog for our personal lives and countless other topics. If it requires some extra clicks, fine. But I will always enjoy using Oppositelock for the laughs, the information, and the stories, regardless of how bad Tiger is.

Don't worry bro...they will come back. We had a mass exodus to G+ awhile back some stayed there, some came back.

I go between both.
Because G+ is the place for people who care to get to really know the people that you call idiots on Oppositelock.
So what I'm saying is, I think you're all idiots. But in a nice way.

My biggest problem is that I need to post a picture whenever I want to comment, or else it's literally impossible to post. Literally is not being used hyperbolically, when I click comment and scroll over to the comment box it starts flashing between input border and blank. If I try and do it for too long, the page freezes and I have to close it and reload the page. So there's a real barrier keeping me from commenting.
Just in case tech support browses over, I'm using IE10 (Fuck off.).

Its not as bad as I thought it'd be. Honestly I've been through atleast 4 major over-hauls on Jalopnik (and other gakwer sites), and everytime we hate it at first, then we embrace it. Think about how many hated Kinja in the first place, now we all want THAT kinja to come back. It just takes time.

Wanking it to our avatars still isn't sex, not matter how many times you do it.

Who said it was to your avatars?
Why do I think I own this lens?

I can't even do that; not at work anyway, we're stuck with IE9, and Tiger is straight up broken on IE9. I can kinda browse on my tablet, but Verizon's 4G sucks big time in dahntahn Pittsburgh, so that's out too.

Just keep scrolling. People create drama for drama's sake, and if they want to leave, fine...this is a free community with no obligations. Judging them or guilt-tripping them for not having enough devotion to the community helps nothing.

"If you leave because of the new format, then you really don't care for Oppo."
Wrong. It's because I do care for Oppo. Why is there so much passion in the hatred for Tiger? Because so many of us have put a lot of time into making Oppo what it is. And we feel like Denton And The Gawkerites don't hear us, don't listen to us and seem to not give a crap what the user base thinks. The ratio of dislikes/likes has to be 4:1 if not higher, yet they press on with the change. It's not as shitty as the first iteration, but it's still pretty shitty. I'm not going to sit here and say I'm leaving because, well, nobody gives a rat's ass about that....
